Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a lashing winch for a flatbed truck or trailer. Now, this lashing winch can be used on a flatbed truck or trailer to secure a tie down strap over your load. It works with winch straps up to four inches wide, and it does require a winch tightening bar for operation, which is sold separately.Now, this is a sliding winch. It's designed to install in a C-channel winch track. Track not included. That way you can slide the winch back and forth in the track until you get the position you need for your application.

We're looking at a nice, durable steel construction with black powder coated finishing to resist rust and corrosion. It meets or exceeds Department of Transportation requirements and WSTDA specifications.Now, when it comes to the overall measurements, edge to edge, going in this direction, that measures around eight inches. Top to bottom, that gives us a measurement of around seven and a half inches. Then, front to back, this measurement right here is about three and seven-eights. Now when it comes to the actual mounting base, it's the top right here.
